WHERE IS THE FAIR?
The JCJF is held at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Cottageville, West Virginia, located on Route 62 about 7 miles from I-77 (Exit 138/Ripley). You can view a map of the area here.

WHEN IS THE FAIR?
The JCJF is open to the public from Monday, July 22nd, through Saturday, July 27th . The complete schedule is available here.

WHAT ARE THE FAIR’S HOURS?
The gates open each morning at 7:30 a.m. Exhibit halls close nightly at 9:00 p.m. The last evening of the Fair (Saturday) features a fireworks show that begins at 11:00 p.m. Please note that the Carnival hours are not the same as the general JCJF hours.

WHAT IS THE DAILY ADMISSION TO THE FAIR?
Ticket for adults (ages 12 and over) cost $10 and tickets for youth (ages 2-11) cost $5. Children under 2 are free. You can learn more about purchasing tickets here.

DOES THE JCJF OFFER A SEASON PASS?
Yes, season passes are available for purchase through Sunday, July 23rd. Adult (ages 12 and over) passes are $30. Youth (ages 2-11) are $10. You can learn more about purchasing season passes here.

Please note that this admission does not include admission to the Carnival. Carnival tickets must be purchased separately at the Carnival ticket booth. The JCJF will not offer refunds or rain dates.

Is there a senior citizen or veteran discount?
No

When is the Carnival Open?
Tuesday - Friday from 6:00pm to 11:00 pm. There are two separate sessions on Saturday. Session 1: 1:00pm - 5:00 pm and session 2: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm. You must pay for a new wristband for each session.

Do any of the shows or entertainment cost extra?
No. The carnival is the only thing Not included in the daily or weekly pass cost.

If I leave the fair, do I need to pay to get back in the same day?
No, as long as you are wearing your wristband or have the proper handstamp to prove your admission.

Can I bring my dog to the fair?
No. Only service and exhibited animals are permitted on the fair grounds.

Do you have handicapped parking?
Yes, but it is limited. You must have proper handicap decals displayed for fair officials to see.

What type of seating do you have for the stage entertainment?
Bring a blanket or chair of your own. Large umbrellas or canopies are only permitted at the top of the hill.

What are the fair office hours?
Sunday, July 23rd 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm; Monday, July 22nd - Friday, July 26th 7:00 am - 7:00 pm; and Saturday, July 27th 7:00 am - 9:00 pm.

Where and when can I exchange my weekly fair pass for a wrist band?
The fair office, any day of the fair.

How do I get my sewer pumped in my camper?
Go to the fair office, complete a registration form, and pay for service at least 1 day prior to having your camper pumped. DO NOT RUN DOWN AND ASK WORKERS WITHOUT REGISTERING AHEAD OF TIME!

How much does it cost to get my camper’s sewage pumped out?
$20 for one gray and one black tank; $40 for 3 tanks or more.

Where do I take my Home Arts Exhibit?
Home Arts will be displayed in the new exhibit hall with 4-H and FFA exhibits.
